Marcos Molina (Palma de Majorca, 1965), is a specialized nature landscape self-taught photographer. He began to portray the landscapes of Majorca with his first camera at the age of twelve. Passionate mountaineer, at a very young age he was fascinated by the unique landscape of the Sierra de Tramuntana, with which establishes a close connection throughout his life, and where he developed most of his photographic works. Regular outdoors trips over three decades have sought him a special familiarity with the region and with the rhythms of weather and light, as well as a solid photographic experience.
After the conversion to digital format in 2005, he devoted himself entirely from the year 2006 to 2013 to an ambitious project: the final search of the most spectacular scenery of the Sierra de Tramuntana, each in its "instant" of splendour, according to his particular view. He likes shooting with the classic and panoramic format, as well as using the timelapse technique.

Freelancer since 2010, in 2016 he received a first prize in the Glanzlichter international competition. In the same year he published his first book, «Llums de Tramuntana» ("Tramuntana Light").

He teaches courses in landscape photography and his work has been published in travel magazines and monographs. He is a member of AFONIB (Balearic Islands Association of Nature Photographers) and AEFONA (Spanish Association of Nature Photographers).
